I am wondering what size chest protector to get. I wear a junior large player shoulder pad, and a sizing chart says wear a junior medium goalie chest protector. I am just worried the medium will be to small. Also are the sizes the same because if they aren’t should i get the medium one?

Try some on in person to be sure it fits right as it can vary by manufacturer.
Keep in mind goalie chest protectors (for ice hockey) are bulkier than player
shoulder pads. That said, you will probably also need to get a bigger jersey.

I would Suggest getting a vaughn chest protector. They are really good quality and don’t hurt. Also they are really comfortable if you have adjusted them so it fits right.. Vaughn 8800 is the best you can get at the moment.
